WHY DIDN'T I GET ONE OF THESE SOONER???!! 2010-09-03 |
| By Julie Bankston |
| WOW - What a perfect invention for a mother of 3 toddlers. My floors are always covered in crumbs.... cheerios, crushed goldfish crackers, etc. After a long day I was always too tired to pull out the big vacuum. I can't believe how simple and easy this swivel sweeper is. I was totally skeptical about it (my parents gave me their extra one) and I am amazed at how well it works! It picks up all the junk off of my hardwoods, cleans crumbs up off of the carpet - basically it is a total sanity-saver and my house has never looked so clean! I'm tempted to buy these as gifts for all of my friends having babies. It is a MUST for families with "crumby" little ones :) |
IT WORKS! 2010-09-03 |
| By JerryEl (NW FL) |
I'm usually leery of these TV hawked items as many of the items are junk and don't last, don't perform as advertised, or not easy to use.
But...I ordered this Swivel Sweeper anyway and for the money I paid including the shipping and handling for two of them it came came close to $60.
I got it for a quick cleanup on tile floor through out the house. For my purpose on the 19" square tile floor I can say it works as advertised. It has some trouble with pieces of grass but the troublesome pieces are quickly picked up with a "side sweep". Why the side brushes pick up grass easier I can't answer, but it does. The sweeper is very light and not the studiest item made for this purpose. I've been using it for around 4 months almost daily and somewhere along the line lost one of the sliders on the bottom but it doesn't seem to effect the pickup or sliding capability.
What amazed me was the amount of stuff it picked up when I emptied it. Dirt I couldn't even see was picked up along with the stuff I did see.
Prior to buying this I bought a Shark model at Wal-Mart and the Swivel Sweeper tops it in all cases. Especially the lightness and ease of use. Pulling the dirt container out of the Shark is difficult and when it finally unsnaps and pops out dirt goes everywhere.
In summary, this thing works great for the intended use and considering the price I would recommend it to anyone and have done so to family members. It does good on short pile carpets but it really shines on hard floors. Of course, it isn't a vacuum cleaner and isn't recommended for weekly house cleaning but for quick clean ups it's an excellent choice in my opinion. |
Swivel Sweeper G2 is very helpful!!! 2010-09-02 |
| By Delia E. Quiroga (JACKSONVILLE, FLORIDA, US) |
| This product is very convenient to use, because of the cordless/rechargeable feature. I just wish they made the vacuum's rectangular unit a little more heavier.....I believe it will be more effective in picking up more dirt. And I wish the handle is bigger in circumference, even it is the same light material. A bigger circumference will make it sturdier. But all in all. I am very happy with my purchase. The price for the whole package is really great!!! |
Best deal I've seen 2010-08-28 |
| By Kenneth E. Baker (Aurora, Ohio) |
We had the old black Swivel Sweeper for years until it finally wore out. Eventually, we just tossed it out. Since then we have tried some other "quick pick-up" vacuums but my wife always claimed that she liked the Swivel Sweeper best. I resigned myself to the fact that I would have to invest $40.00 sooner or later for the new updated model. When I found the 2-for-1 deal I couldn't pass it up. The new model seems to be a little more powerful than the old one & it holds the charge longer. I'm not sure about the bonus "mini sweeper"--- it doesn't really do anything special. You're better off sweeping the crumbs on to the floor & using the Swivel Sweeper. Anyway, my wife is happy that she has her favorite sweeper back---and, when it wears out, we'll have another one (still in the box) for a replacement.
By the way, we have a local TV station that periodically tests infomercial products to see if they are "A Deal or a DUD". They determined that the Swivel Sweeper delivers what it promises. My wife thinks so, too. |
