The design is a distinctive, patented system, this offers 100% infared heat. The grill is a really cool dark metalic green color.
I have only used it once. It works fine.
It showed up dented and crooked, not charbroils fault.
The lid seems cheap, not very sturdy. There is also alot of room for air to blow into the closed grill.
Product went together very tight, not rattles or shakes, solid base, good design.

| The best grill I have ever owned. In the amount of time that it takes to get charcoal ready to cook, the meal is on the table and ready to be enjoyed. Everything about this grill is a snap. The only test left is longevity. Clean up is even a breeze. |

| I have a built in outside grill called fire magic that resently cost me close to 500.00 to fix and bring back up to new condition. The problem is that the juices from the meats go past the flavor gates down to the burnners that can cause a plug up. I purchased the Charbroil Heatwave because it caputures the jucies in the bowls that are underneath the porclein cooking crates so no jucies will hit the burner. Great product, and as a bounus the foods cooked on this grill tastes better that the $ 2200.00 fire magic grill. It's a no brainer purchase.Buy it!!! |

Try as you might you will not get a flare up unless you choose to throw liquid fat into the trough and heat it till smoking.
