Big Easy Cooker 2009-01-06 |
| By J. Clark |
| The Char=Broil Big Easy cooker cooks great once you learn to cook all over again , my problem is with the quality of workman ship. One of the rings in the basket was missing a spot weld and bottom of the bucket had a spot weld that missed it's mark and left that part of the bottom lose. |
Better than oil 2008-12-30 |
| By phil (Jersey) |
| Got this for Christmas, set it up and used it same day. Was a little tricky assembling but not bad. Bird came out great, I will never fry again. Crisp skin, juicy meat. Excellent, and it only took 3.5 hours to do a 20 lb bird. |
Thoroughly pleased 2008-12-28 |

| This fryer works great! It takes a little longer for your turkey to cook but my family thought this was the best bird we had eaten. The birds were juicy, flavorful, healthy and clean up is a snap. |
Great cooker 2008-12-28 |
| By Gregory A. Claxton (Lafayette,IN) |
This works really well, although it does take longer than an oil
fryer.I also would consult sources for temp for being done. The manual for
this unit says 160 for turkey, but I have had better luck going to 175 to 180 on a meat thermometer.I like that I can use any recipe you would use with an oil fryer and no messy oil to let cool and drain.I rated it 4 out of five only because of cooking time.I would highly recommend this fryer.
I can't wait to try some of the other ideas for ribbs, etc. |
Great Christmas Turkey this year. 2008-12-26 |
| By C. Malone (GA) |
The Big Easy is all it is billed to be. Easy to put together, easy to use, and easy to clean. I cooked with it for the 1st time on Christmas morning and closely followed the instructions. The turkey was moist as could be on the inside and the skin was nicely crisp and golden brown. Beautiful turkey and very tasty. I am very pleased with this purchase and recommend it to anyone not wanting to get into the expense of oil, and the disposale/storage/safety issues associated with oil.
Merry Christmas! |
